Terms of Use

This Terms of Use is provided for review purposes and is not final legal advice. Liability, age, dispute, and state-specific provisions should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before public launch.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Gather, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Gather is an event discovery and coordination platform that helps users discover events, express interest, and coordinate attendance around shared event experiences. Gather is not a dating service and is not designed, marketed, or intended for dating, romantic matching, or romantic introductions.

3. User responsibility

Gather does not organize, supervise, host, control, endorse, or guarantee gatherings between users. You independently decide whether, when, where, and with whom you attend events or interact. You are responsible for your own decisions, transportation, purchases, conduct, communications, meetings, and personal safety.

4. Tickets & third parties

Gather does not sell tickets directly. Ticket purchases, registrations, refunds, cancellations, pricing, admission, and event fulfillment are handled by independent event organizers, venues, ticket providers, or other third parties. Their terms and policies apply.

5. No endorsement or guarantee

Event listings and Verified Organizer status do not constitute Gather's endorsement, sponsorship, safety certification, or guarantee of an event, organizer, venue, or attendee.

6. Conduct

You agree to follow all applicable laws and to treat others with respect. You may not use Gather to harass, threaten, deceive, or harm others, or for any unlawful or romantic-matching purpose. We may suspend or remove access for violations.

7. Eligibility & age

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gather is provided "as is" without warranties, and is not liable for interactions between users, third-party events or tickets, or any consequences of your use of the service.

9. Disputes

Disputes will be resolved as required by applicable law. Governing law, venue, and state-specific requirements (including any Minnesota-specific provisions) are subject to finalization with legal counsel.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in a new version; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
