Account information you provide (name, email), the events you rate or save, RSVPs, group chat messages you send, and information you submit in forms or reports. We also collect usage data and device/browser information.
To operate the service — showing events, coordinating group attendance around shared event experiences, and facilitating group chats connected to events. We do not use your information to build romantic or dating profiles.
Your name and consented RSVP information may be shared with an event organizer only when you choose to share it. We do not sell your personal information. Aggregate, de-identified data may be used for analytics.
Group chat messages are visible to members of that group. We may retain messages for safety investigations and to enforce our policies.
If you report a safety concern, we use that information to review and take appropriate action. Reports may be retained after resolution for safety and policy enforcement.
You can update your display name in your profile and delete your saved events and ratings. You can contact us to request deletion of your account and data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Gather is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 18.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in a new version.
